As part of Black History Month on Fox News, former Buffalo Sabre/Rochester American Val James was featured on a video chronicling his ability to overcome all the racism he would face in his struggle to make it to the NHL.  His visit to the Riverside Rink was part of the feature, which included his skating with the Boys & Girls Club.  We were proud have had him with us, a very sincere and polite man, and we are extemely happy to see him getting some accolades for his accomplishments!
