Hasek's Heroes Team Play Program

Welcome to the Hasek's Heroes Hockey Team! Our teams offer a fantastic opportunity for young hockey enthusiasts to develop their skills, experience the thrill of competition, and build lasting friendships both on and off the ice. For those eager to take their love for the game to the next level, we are adding several teams this season based on age. Building on the skills and camaraderie developed through our programs, our teams provide an exciting platform to participate and play vs other local teams.

Team Overview:

Location: Riverside Ice Rink & Cazenovia Ice Rink
Experience Level: Participated in our Learn to Play program last year
Team Focus: Skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship
Dates: October - End of March

Player Placement:
Coach Joe will find the right spot for each player in our organization, as they join team play.
We have two options for those who have gone throught our program and now are ready for team play!

Hasek's House League (HHL)
All skates will be Saturday mornings 8am-9:30am @Riverside rink
We have added this as a fun oppotuinty for kids in our program to play organized games.

Last season we had a 10U Team: that provided our young players with an opportunity to take their skills to the next level while still emphasizing the importance of fun and teamwork. This year we aim to expand and add two more teams!

Hasek's Heroes 10U Birth Years (2014-2015)
Hasek's Heroes 12U Birth Years (2012-2013)
Hasek's Heroes 14U Birth Years (2010-2011)

Key Highlights:

Skill Development: Our program places a strong emphasis on skill development, ensuring that players build a solid foundation in skating, stickhandling, passing, and shooting.
Positive Environment: We provide a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where players can grow and thrive. Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping each player reach their full potential.
Local Competition: Our team will compete against other local teams in the area, offering players the chance to test their skills in a fun and competitive environment.
Travel: There will be some travel involved for away games as we face off against other teams in nearby rinks. However, please note that all home games and practices will be exclusively based out of the Riverside Ice Rink.

Becoming HEROES: Inspiring Leadership, One Letter at a Time:

At Hasek's Heroes, we're not just teaching skating; we're shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Our skaters will earn a letter on their helmets to spell out "HEROES." These letters represent the qualities of true heroes and leaders:

Week 1: H - Helpful
Week 2: E - Engaged
Week 3: R - Responsible
Week 4: O - Open-minded
Week 5: E - Empathetic
Week 6: S - Selfless

Our passionate coaches will infuse these qualities into each practice, guiding participants to embrace them both on and off the ice. As skaters demonstrate these attributes, they'll earn their HEROES stickers. By the program's end, their helmets will proudly display the complete set of HEROES letters, symbolizing their journey towards becoming not just skilled athletes, but true heroes and leaders in their own right.
