New Equipment Donation Bin at Bud Bakewell Rink!

We’re thrilled to share that Level the Playing Field has generously provided a new donation bin at our home rink..Bud Bakewell Ice Rink, located at 2607 Niagara Street, Buffalo!

If you have gently used youth sports equipment whether it’s hockey, football, baseball, or any other gear—this is a great opportunity to give it a second life. Your donations directly support local youth by helping ensure every child has a chance to play, grow, and stay active.

 
At Hasek’s Heroes, we’re proud to partner with Level the Playing Field, a national nonprofit that works to redistribute high-quality sports equipment to local organizations like ours. This partnership helps get equipment into the hands of the kids who need it most.. right here in our Buffalo community.

How it works

• Drop your donation directly in the bin outside Bud Bakewell during any time of day.
• If you’re donating hockey sticks or oversized gear that won’t fit in the bin, you can bring it inside during rink hours and label it “Donation for Hasek’s Heroes.”
